Burl Stocked Jaeger

Description: A 58-caliber, 26-inch barreled Germanic hunting rifle. The iron mounts are tastefully engraved with traditional motifs. The burl hardwood stock is a natural fruitwood color. This combined with a blued barrel with gold wire inlay, makes for a very colorful project. This rifle is illustrated on page 63 of the Museum catalog, "Three Centuries of Tradition."
